All is in the title, french "Slackers" have beaten the former record of 200 meters. Above the Gorges du Daluis, in the region Alpes-Maritimes, they established the new record at... 330 meters. Still far from the world record of almost 500 meters realised by a french last November above the canyon of Moab in the US.
Among those who tried to cross the 330 meters, they are only a few to actually achieve the crossing. They anchored their ropes with natural anchors. Unfortunately the group who made that record hasn't posted video, neither pictures. According to the local newspaper France 3 Côte d'Azur, 4 slackers who reached the other part of the rope.
However we can still watch this impressive video of the group High above Monaco as they named the following video.
A huge meeting is scheduled around the 15th of May, in Saint-Jeannet in the Alpes-Maritimes once again. There, we can expect more records to be beaten. We will follow this very closely.
