Where to slackline in Madrid ? Top 5 of the spots

Another article, another capital, y hoy es Madrid ! Like every capital, Madrid offers many places to set up your slackline. Longline in some places, highlines in a few and like all urban environment, many places to set up your jumpline. Anyway, Madrid and its nice weather are a good opportunity to meet people from all over the world. You can easily manage to gather people in order to learn or make the others learn. Take a beer, your slackline, your good mood and write a quick post on a page like this one and propose a place of the following ones.

A very good point of Madrid is that installing your slackline in a parc isn't forbidden, it's tolerated as long as you protect trees, don't cut ways and are nice with the keepers. There are in Madrid two main places to set up your slackline : Oeste and Debod. Those parks are the two "most wanted" where everyone goes. If you like "crowd", that's definitively the place to be to slackline.

Parque del Oeste. Probably one of the most famous place of Madrid to slackline. There are trees everywhere which makes that spot perfect for longline and jumpline. On a sunny day, don't hesitate to go there without warning anyone, there will be plenty of people already there, with their material.

Parque Debod. Another park, another atmosphere but same love for the line. Between funambilists and athletes, people from all Europe meet in such a place. You will put there everything except a highline.


La Cabrera. In case you are more an adept of high line, you will need to take a car and drive until the countryside. La Cabrera is an hour far from Madrid but it may be worth the trip. There are plenty of places over there, with an incredible view. You better check the following video... :


In Patones, a little further, you will be able to practice waterline. There you can also practice highline. But be ready to drive for an hour.

In La Pedriza (Manzanares el Real), a natural park close to Madrid, you will find many places to put longline as long as you want (can).
